  • Years 7 & 8 Shine at Nottingham Forest Festival

    Students in Years 7 and 8 enjoyed an exciting Nottingham Forest Netball and Football Festival, filled with sport, teamwork and memorable experiences. The day featured an afternoon tournament where teams competed against other schools from across Nottingham, showcasing their skills and determination. Students also had the fantastic opportunity to meet players and coaches from the Nottingham Forest teams, as well as the club mascot, which made the event even more special. Throughout the day, all students represented the academy exceptionally well, demonstrating outstanding resilience and teamwork in every activity.

  • Autism Awareness Raising Session for Parents, Carers and Families

    Join us for an awareness-raising session designed to enhance the understanding of parents, carers, and families about autism and the support autistic children may need.

    This session will provide information on:

    • Understanding autism and the experiences of autistic children
    • The importance of reasonable adjustments to support learning, communication, and wellbeing
    • Practical ways families can help create supportive and inclusive environments
    • Guidance and shared understanding to better support autistic children at home and in the community

    We welcome parents, carers, family members, and anyone interested in learning more about supporting autistic children.

  • Y12 & 13 Visit to St George’s Park

Throughout the day, they explored the facilities, took part in activities, and gained valuable insights while working together as a team. The visit was both enjoyable and inspiring, giving students the opportunity to learn, develop new skills, and create lasting memories.

  • Exam Anxiety Session for Parents - Friday 24th April

    Dear Parent/Carer,

    You are warmly invited to attend a session on exam anxiety led by our Educational Psychologist, Annie Newton, on Friday 24th April 2026, from 2:00–3:00pm.  

    This session is designed to help you support your child through the stresses of examinations. It will provide practical advice and strategies on how best to manage anxiety and promote wellbeing during this important time.

  • Redhill Trust Handball Games at Nottingham University

    On Wednesday 22nd April, we took 40 students from year 7-10 to Nottingham University to take part in the Redhill Trust Handball Games. All of our teams performed exceptionally well throughout the day, demonstrating great teamwork, resilience, and sportsmanship. The students were a credit to the academy and represented us brilliantly both on and off the court. It was a fantastic experience for everyone involved, and we are extremely proud of their efforts.

  • Students Shine at National Rowing Competition in London

    'Well done to all of our students that attended the National Rowing Competition in London on Friday 20th March. They all represented not just the Academy but the whole Redhill Trust and were lucky enough to come away with 2 medals - well done Harry (Y7) and Isla (Y9).'
