Building Maintenance UPDATE

You may have noticed the changing appearance at the front of the site where contractors have been laying foundations. In October we will have three blocks of temporary classrooms built which will host lessons why building repairs are taking place. 

The plan for the repairs are as follows (estimated dates) 

  • October - repairs to the main Core Block of the school

  • January - repairs to A Block - English lessons will be relocated to the temporary classrooms

  • May - repairs to B Block - Humanities and Languages lessons will be relocated to the temporary classrooms

  • August - repairs to C Block/ Sports hall - Maths lessons will be relocated to the temporary classrooms

All repairs are expected to be completed by January 2027.

The temporary classrooms are being used to ensure there is no impact on Teaching and Learning whilst the repairs to the exterior of the building are taking place and that the site remains safe for all students and staff. 

All students will have an assembly over the next couple of weeks to talk about the work that is taking place.
