BTEC Level 3 Sports Students Go Ape!

It's the first year we have had a Year 12 and 13 Sport cohort based at The Oakwood Academy. This activity was rewarded to the BTEC Level 3 Sports students for their hard work, determination and being successful in the first term. This was a great was to continue/reward the students' commitment to the course and their overall grades.

Year 9 - 11 Trip to see Bugsy Malone

On 1^st November we took 30 students from Year 9 - 11 to see the West End touring show of Bugsy Malone at the Nottingham Theatre Royal. The students enjoyed the performance and were fantastically behaved. Students were invited based on their behaviour and engagement in their performing arts lessons. We are looking forwards to the next shows we have coming up, including Annie and Sister Act.
