To celebrate Black History Month, we arranged several activities in the final week across assemblies, curriculum time and DEAR (Drop Everything And Read). On Friday 14^th October, our canteen changed the menu to African and Caribbean themed food, and there were workshops from The Pantasy Steel Band and Mr Grieg in Food Technology. Students were able to play the steel drums whilst learning the background about the instrument, and experience the cooking and tasting of foods from Africa and the Caribbean in Mr Grieg's lessons.
